1) Laura’s Bed and Breakfast
What’s fantastic about this venue is that the house has been around since the 1800s. Three people share ownership of this quaint B&B in Westbrook, which is just 15 minutes away from downtown Kingston. As its name implies, Laura established Laura’s Bed and Breakfast in 2014 with her daughter Jessie and her son-in-law Nigel. She serves as the host while the two ensure that the website and online transactions work as intended.
There are four rooms available: single room, king room, queen bedroom, and a double room with two single beds. All rooms have a garden view except for the last option. However, not all these rooms are filled. The municipal law prohibits the B&B from accepting more than three guests at a time. If you do book here, you can enjoy a continental breakfast, free wifi, and free parking.
The place is close enough for anyone wanting to visit Wolfe Island or Thousand Islands. Guests use a shared bathroom during their stay. Also, children and pets aren’t allowed. You can place a reservation online — and you only need to deposit a non-refundable $10 regardless of which room you choose.
