A slightly smaller shopping centre offering more specialist services, Frontenac Mall is a good option for perusing for a while before stocking up on groceries at their supermarket ‘Food basics’. A relaxing environment with plenty of comfortable sofas and chairs to put your feet up after a long day’s shopping, Frontenac Mall will have you feeling as if you’re at home as you go about your business. A welcome (relatively) new addition to the community, Riverview Shopping Centre is your one-stop shop for some of the biggest brands, including a drive-through Starbucks for when you’re just passing through. All your basic needs can be met here. Including great coffee options, a ‘Food Basics’ for your groceries, and a large ‘LCBO’, which has a huge selection of alcohol including craft beer and vintage wines and spirits.
If you’re feeling peckish and aren’t sure what to eat, a trip to the Riverview Shopping Centre could be just what you need. 4. RioCan Centre
With around 62 stores, the RioCan Centre is one of Kingston’s oldest shopping malls. Built in 1998, this is one of the originals, and is home to big brands, large stores and entertainment facilities. 5. Kingston Centre
A mall in Kingston, Ontario enjoyed by locals, offering a variety of quality restaurants and shops, Kingston Centre is very walkable and has an interesting, modern space to wander around on a weekend afternoon.
